A major milestone as the first anchor tenant signs on to the Cazenovia Innovation District.

The Cazenovia Innovation District has reached a significant milestone with the confirmation of its first anchor tenant. This commitment validates the district's vision and marks the transition from planning to activation.

The anchor tenant will bring workforce training and innovation programming to the campus, directly addressing the region's growing demand for skilled talent as major investments like Micron reshape Central New York's economic landscape.

More details will be shared in the coming weeks as we finalize the partnership terms and begin preparing the space for occupancy.

We're excited to announce that Colicchio Consulting has been engaged to lead the culinary, entertainment, and hospitality strategy for the Cazenovia Innovation District.

Phil Colicchio brings decades of experience in food systems, hospitality programming, and placemaking. His team will oversee the food hall concept, culinary programming, and food systems integration across both properties.

The culinary pillar is a core part of the district's activation strategy — creating a destination that draws visitors, supports local agriculture, and provides workforce training in hospitality and food service.

Keys in hand. 160+ acres and two properties are now under 9Fresh ownership.

9Fresh has officially closed on the acquisition of the former college campus in Cazenovia, New York. The property spans 160+ acres across two sites and represents one of the most significant adaptive reuse opportunities in Central New York.

The acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter for both the property and the community. Where a college once stood, an innovation district will emerge — purpose-built to serve the economic needs of the region.

With keys in hand, the team is moving immediately into Phase 1 activation planning, with community engagement, anchor tenant negotiations, and infrastructure assessment already underway.
